AMT SMART MATERIAL CONTROL SYSTEM
The AMT Smart Material Control System integrates the MES material packaging information system, warehouse unique material code information system, and SMT programming & material scanning system.
- MES material packaging information system: A unique code is assigned to each volume of materials for warehousing. Information such as material code, supplier code, and material quantity is recorded in the MES system.
- Mounter programming & material scanning system: This system automatically creates SMT information of materials based on the MES material packaging information. Unchecked materials are not used temporarily. After four parameters of materials are verified on site, the system automatically creates the SMT information according to the material information maintained by the MES and releases the materials for production.
- MES material packaging information system: This system stores packaging information of materials provided by each supplier, for example, Feeder dimensions, material angle, and material step, with a check flag (this flag indicates whether information is reliable. If yes, the information is correct. Otherwise, you need to check the information) and an AVL material flag (The value "Yes" indicates that the materials provided by different suppliers are not completely consistent. The value "No" indicates that the materials provided by all suppliers are completely the same).
The system supports the inspection-free and forcible inspection modes:
After the first inspection, materials are free of inspection subsequently.
Forcible inspection is implemented for materials of any supplier upon the first entry to the production system.
CUSTOMIZED MES VERIFIER
Situation: Because FUJI Feeder has a unique code (FeederID), when it is inserted into the machine, the American and Asian tools can get the FeederID through MES Interface. If we know the material code on the Feeder beforehand, then we can check with the current program's material table. If it is correct, let the Feeder continue to produce, otherwise, the Feeder will be disabled. In addition, each Feeder (more than the second generation) has a metal feeding sensor, which can be used for feeding error prevention.
Logic: MES fault-proof is based on the program's material table, the material on the Feeder and the limited conditions of MES.
Process: Scanning system needs to scan Feeder Bar Code (FeederID) and Material Code (FeederID) to achieve error-proof feeding. Metal feeding belt is used for midway feeding and feeding scanning is carried out. Material that has not been scanned will stop feeding with a sensor in the metal feeder belt.
